However, during my collegiate studies, my stepmom passed away. Momma K was a designer, loved clean beauty, & had a dedicated skincare routine for her glowing skin. Deep grief brought clarity to my life & I knew I wanted to build a skincare line in her honor.

I serendipitously met my husband while on vacation in SLC, which meant moving to Utah and settling into Morgan, a small farming community. I now find myself living in the dry climate of Utah, making skincare products in my home. I did not anticipate the countless products I would go through to feel moisturized in this dry climate. It was a real struggle for me until I found the timeless tradition of tallow. I had no idea tallow would be the answer to my dry skin problems or the fruition of my long-awaited dream. Thankfully, it has been both.
